Maryre Thomas Vega

Maryre Thomas Vega passed away June 13, 2008. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on February 13, 1953. A veteran of the U.S. Army, she worked at Beaumont Hospital, Vista Heights and Sun Valley Hospital as a Psychiatric Technician. She then worked as an office manager for local psychiatrist for 14 years. A loving mother and wife, her family always came first. She is deeply loved and greatly missed. Maryre is survived by husband: Hector Vega; Children: Christina Patterson and Grant Vega; Grandchild: Rowan Patterson; Sisters: Girtha Thomas and Katie Mc Claskey and Brother: Buddy Charles Thomas. We will always feel your arms around us. Visitation will be from 5-9 pm on June 17, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Drive. Funeral Service will be at 9 am on June 18, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 10:30 am.
