Mary L. Williams

July 15, 1928 — March 21, 2008

Mary Louise Williams, the eldest of three children, was born to Tommie and Ella Baldwin July 15, 1928 in Paris, Texas. Mrs. William attended Gilmore High School in Paris, Texas. Mrs. William moved to El Paso with her aunt in 1949. She joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church under The Pastoral Ship of Rev. H.B. Banks. Mrs. Williams met and married Deacon George Williams Jr., November 7, 1972. She later retired from Y.I.S.D. in 1990. She was a member of Rising Sun Chapter #7, Herions of Jericho, Golden Circle and Alston Kennedy Guild, American Legion Post #832. She was also a very active member of her church until she was physically unable to attend church. Left to cherish her memory her loving husband George Williams Jr., daughters, Dorothy M. Young (Willie), Wanda Miller, Sister, Mattie M. Brown, Grandson, Kevin B. Talton, great grandson, Kevin B. Talton Jr., seven great-great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, one aunt Dorothy Munn and a host of nieces and nephews. God quietly called her home Friday, March 21, 2008 to rest from her labor. She had a full life and will be missed by all. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 pm, Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast with a prayer service at 5:30pm. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, March 28, 2008 at Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Interment will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Service entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
