Mary Ann Scott

Mary Ann Scott, 73, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was born in Oil City, Pennsylvania on August 23, 1942. Mary Ann later married the love of her life, Robert T. Scott, on June 26, 1965. Mary Ann was a loving homemaker for most of her life. She also was a talented artist and enjoyed writing poetry. She was a devout Catholic that taught catechism for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Edwin Lesco and Betty Ann George and brother Bobby Lesco. She leaves behind to treasure her memory her husband, Robert T. Scott, Sr., daughter, Theresa Ann Martinez, her husband David Martinez, and their children Mary Ann , Kateri , and Timothy . She also leaves behind her son Robert Terrence Scott, Jr., his wife Romy and their children Dakota , Kelsey , Lilly and Riley . She is also survived by her sisters, Patricia Draney (Don), Barbara Dettro (Rich), Robin Miraldi (Hailey-godchild), and Sue Ann Blott (Paul), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. We wish to ask our friends and relatives to help us pray for the repose of the soul of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister; Eternal rest grant unto her, Oh Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon her. And may all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 118 N. Campbell. Committal Service will follow at 2:30pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
