Mary Louise Watkins

Mary Louise Watkins passed into the arms of her Savior on July 6^th, 2023, at her home in El Paso, Texas.  She was born on March 18^th, 1926, in Panhandle, TX to Olbert L.  and Ina M. Smith.

She left Texas to attend Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas where she met the love of her life, Joseph W. Watkins, Jr. They were married for over 60 years.

When Joseph retired, they sold their home, purchased an RV and traveled across the United States. Something they both truly enjoyed. Later they settled in El Paso, TX to be closer to their children.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her son Steven Watkins and daughter Debora Dyar; a granddaughter Melissa Curd (Jason); a great granddaughter, Marilyn Curd, and a host of family and friends who will keep her memory close.

A private service will be held at a later date.
