Mary Frances Lemmon

Mary Frances Lemmon was called home by the Lord on November 19, 2016. Mary Frances was born and raised in Walnut Grove, Missouri, where she served as a drum major and graduated high school as the valedictorian of her class. She went on to teach grade school for a year before working at home full time. Mary Frances dedicated her life to serving the Lord and others. She taught Sunday school for over forty years and was an active participant of Women’s ministries. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and the many friends she made all over the United States. Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Chester and Lucy Holder, sister: Angeline Peck, brother: Ben W. Holder and spouse Ralph E. Lemmon. Left to cherish her memory is her sister Jo Laine Rook, her two daughters: Jacky Harris and Katie Davis, son: Ralph E. Lemmon, II, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 25, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am-12:30 pm with a Chapel Service commencing at 12:30 pm.
