Mary Lou Herrera

Mary Lou Herrera, 77 beloved mother and grandmother passed peacefully on October 15, 2012 in Lewisville, TX. Born December 14, 1934 in Fort Davis, TX, she grew up in Marfa, TX with parents George and Elvira Ordonez and sister Gracie. She moved to El Paso, TX where she lived the majority of her life. Mary Lou’s passion in life was her family, friends and helping others. She greeted each day with love in her heart and her infectious smile will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her son; Orlando Ivan Herrera, and her parents George and Elvira Ordoñez. She is survived by her son; Raul Javier Herrera (Denise), daughter; Consuelo Herrera, sister: Gracie Nunez (Cal), grand-daughters; Meghan and Sophia. Visitation will be Friday, October 19, 2012 from 4-9 pm with a Vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Saturday, October 20, 2012. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
