Mary Dursilla Herbst

Mary D. Herbst, 82, left her earthly home to be with Jesus, on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Mary was born in Dallastown PA, April 28, 1936. . She graduated from Dallastown High School and met the love of her life Norman A Herbst whom she married, June 9, 1954. As a young woman, she modeled hosiery. Mary was always involved with her children. She participated as room mother for many years, was involved in the PTA and help support all of their activities. Later, she became a bookkeeper for Conley’s Watch and Jewelry where she retired. She loved her church – Trinity Lutheran and was active as a volunteer for many years. She helped with her grandchildren and loved them more than anything. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; Martin and Mary Mellinger. Her brother John Mellinger and her beloved sister Clara Barshinger. She leaves behind her husband of 64 years Norman, son Daniel Herbst, daughters Stephanie A Schulte and Melissa Kohrs; son-in-law’s Mike Schulte and Louis Kohrs. She had 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Family will have a private service in her honor as per her wishes.
