Mary R. Gutierrez

Mary R. Gutierrez, 82, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018. Mary was born in El Paso, Tx on May 8, 1935. she graduated from Jefferson High School then worked as a secretary. Soon after she would marry her high school sweetheart Thomas Gutierrez. Immediately after her children were born, she became a full time homemaker and mom to her four children. Travel, family gatherings and grandchildren became increasingly important. In her retirement years she would enjoy nurturing and caring for her birds such as parrots, mallards and many other species of birds. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Thomas and her parents Manuel and Juana Ramirez. She leaves behind her daughters; Linda, and Norma. and sons; Tommy and Gilbert. A funeral service will be held for Mary on Sunday, April, 22, 2018 from 6 - 7:30 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home in the Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Committal Service will be held at a later date at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
