Mary A. Freeman

MARY ANNA FREEMAN was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 15, 2019, at age of 75. She was loved by her husband, children, grandchildren, brother, sister, and church family. Mary Anna dedicated her life to children – a fact made most notable by her service in public schools as a teacher and librarian, and through her self-sacrificing love as a foster mother. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years: Charles Edward “Eddie” Freeman; her beloved sons: Charles Edward Freeman III (Lori), Mark Adrian Freeman (Michelle), Lee Agustin (Augie) Freeman; her adoring grandchildren: Connor, Benjamin, Ellie, and Emma Freeman; and, her beloved siblings; Wylene Durrett and Lee Johnson. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM, with a Celebration of Life the following day on Saturday February 23, 2019, at 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Westside Church of Christ, 100 Crestmont Dr., with Howard Bryan leading.
