Mary L. Fierro

Mary L. Fierro met our dear Lord on Thursday, June 12, 2009 in El Paso, Texas at the age of 79. She was born in El Paso, Texas on December 3, 1929. She is survived by her husband Robert (Tom) of 68 years; her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Hortencia Fierro; her daughter and son-in-law Patsy and Michael Monroe; her daughter and son-in-law Jo-Ann and Antonio Juarez; and her son and daughter-in-law John T. Fierro and Carmen Molina; all of El Paso, Texas. She is survived by her grandchildren that adored her: Jacob, Krystal, Michael, Samantha, Bryan, Brandon, Rachel, Jason, and Kayla; her sisters Nena, Lily, and Anna and an extended loving family of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Jose Guzman. Mary was a member of her beloved Bowie All sports Association. Although she graduated in 1949, she was lovingly adopted by the class of 1948. We will miss her wit, humor, spunkiness, and most of all her loving and giving heart. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass from 5:00 – 9:00 pm with a rosary/vigil service at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 10000 Pheasant on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 11:45 am. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
