Mary Ruth or "GG" as she was affectionately called by her grandchildren and great grandchildren lived a life of service and care. Mary Ruth had a zest for life as an avid fisherman, a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Boston Celtics; Mary Ruth was always the life of the party. She was a caretaker, who put the needs of others above her own. During her life she worked with troubled children at the former Santa Teresa Adolescent Treatment Center as well as a babysitter for her numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and family friends. Everyone knew that you could always get a hot meal at Aunt Mary's (GG) house. Her "Black Burritos" were world famous! She will be remembered for her kindness, stern hand, and most of all as a Mother to everyone that entered her home.
