Martin Molinar passed away peacefully at home on January 21st. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso and spent his career as a pharmacist on El Paso’s Westside, starting at the McKee Pharmacy downtown and later Gunning Casteel.
Martin was a graduate of El Paso High School, the Texas College of Mines and Metallurgy and the University of Texas College of Pharmacy. He served as a corpsman in the US Navy during WWII and a pharmacist’s mate during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, daughters Patsy and husband Patrick Rowan, Cathy Bonner, Elaine Molinar and husband Craig Dykers, and sister Socorro Ayub and husband Hector Ayub, grandchildren Leigh Bonner and Leslie Anne Rowan.
He is preceded in death by his brother William Molinar and sister Rita Garcia.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
