Martin John Miller

Martin John Miller, age 82, passed away Monday. April 25, 2011. He retired as a Staff Sergeant from the United States Army after 22 years of service during both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After his retirement he was a security guard. Mr. Miller was active in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed working with the youth in the congregation. He will be remembered as being an avid supporter of our military and our country. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his daughter Vickee Lee Pargiello. Martin is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Shirlee Miller, son Marc Alan Miller; his brother James William Miller; four grandchildren Michael Felty, Terry Don Felty, and Virginia Lee Felty, Berry Miller; and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 pm, Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, May 2, 2011 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery .
