Martin Chavez

Martin Chavez left us so unexpectedly- we’re still trying to make sense of it all. His spirit was so strong, but decided to be with the Lord on May 1, 2008. Martin Chavez was born in El Paso, Texas on Oct. 17, 1950. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen A. Chavez. He is survived by his father, Martin Chavez, Jr., sister, Irene Chavez Diaz, one nephew, Paul and three nieces Gina, Marla and Michele. Visitation will be held from 5-9 pm, Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Scripture Service will be held at 9:00 am, Friday, May 9, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-West, Chapel of Remembrance. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-West.
