Mark E. Pumphrey

Mark Edwin Pumphrey, age 68, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 4th 2022 in El Paso, Texas.

Mark was a native of Carlisle, Kentucky. He made El Paso his home since 2010.

He was the deputy director and later on director of the El Paso Public Library for several years until his retirement in 2019. He loved musical theater, writing and singing.

He was a wonderful husband, stepfather, brother and step grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

Mark is preceded in death by his parent Foster Pumphrey and Faye Osborne.

He is survived by his husband Jean-Claude Linossi, his step daughter Marie Dexter and his step granddaughters Sophia and Miranda Dexter.

He is also survived by many extended friends and family who cherish and honor his memory.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service Friday, July 15th, 2022 from 10am to 2pm at Sunset Funeral Home- West.
