Mark Alan Oberg

Mark Alan Oberg, born July 7, 1960 in El Paso Tx. Passed away peacefully December 3, 2011. He was an attendant of Parkland high school class of ’78. Mark was leased to Trailer Transit Inc as an Owner of IMNM. Mark was passionate in his faith and dedicated to his family and friends. His loving attitude and charisma was contagious to anyone who knew him. Mark loved the outdoors, being near nature and was a natural born leader. Mark will always be remembered as a true friend who would always go over and above to help someone. Mark was always smiling, and always ready to lend a kind, encouraging word. Mark considered every new acquaintance a ministry opportunity, and fellowshipping with the brethren was a joy he cherished. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Jennifer Schutte Oberb; mother, Shirley Bowe-Smith; son, David Alan Oberg; Sister Laura Oberg; and niece, Christina Turner. A Memorial Service will begin at 2pm, Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
