Marjean Jackson

She is survived by her 3 children; Charles David Abbott, Kathy Jean Miller and Jimmy Lewis Abbott. Her 4 grandchildren; Jason Reed Hildebrant, Joshua David Abbott, Chance Martin Abbott and Jasmin Renee Hildebrant. And her 2 brothers Sherman Phelps and Donald Phelps. She was an active volunteer at the VFW 8550 for at least 15 years. She also volunteered at the Ft. Bliss V.A. Clinic. She was the past President of the Ladies Auxiliary with the VFW and participated in many activities with her VFW family. She loved spending time with her family at anytime especially during the holidays and enjoyed going to watch the Josh Abbott Band in which she was the number one fan. She also loved watching the Dallas Cowboys play on television. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Funeral Service: 10:00 am Monday, March 18, 2013 at Mount Zion Baptist Church followed by Interment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
