Marie Brawley

Marie Brawley 75, joined our heavenly father in eternal life early February 14th 2008 after a long illness. She was born September 28th in Soto, Ala. To the late Mattie C. and Willie Sanks. Marie “Bunche” was a faithful member of Unity Baptist Church. She worked on the usher board, served in the church kitchen and sang in the choir. Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband Flem Otis Brawley, sister Emma May and son Melton Ray Lee. Marie is survived by on sister Freddie May Fox of Tacoma Washington, five children, Louise McBryde of El Paso, Texas, Ernest Brawley of Lubbock, Texas, Tina Carter of El Paso, Texas, Glenn Brawley (Sharon) of Warner Robins and Calvin Marie Jacobs of Macon, Ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, a host of relatives and friends. Marie will be sadly missed. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 pm, Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Funeral services will be at 11:30 am on Friday, February 22, 2008 at Unity Baptist Church. Interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Service entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
