Mariano Palacios

Our beloved Mariano Palacios, 77, went to his eternal rest on February 21, 2012. He was preceded in death by his sister, Maria Luisa Gallardo. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Gilda A. Palacios. He was a devoted father to eight children, Felipe Palacios ( Diana), Dr. Mariano Palacios (Lourdes), Sergio Palacios ( Lydia), Raul Palacios, Aida L. Palacios, Fernando R. Palacios ( Ana), Rebecca L . Palacios (Joe), David Palacios ( Laurel). He was a grandfather to 17 grandchildren and great grandfather to 3 great granddaughters. He is also survived by his sisters, Guadalupe P. De Arciniega and Maria Antonieta P. De Corral and many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to everyone who helped our family in our time of need and those who traveled from great distances to be with us in these trying times. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM -9:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas with a Vigil service at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be said at 12:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2012 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, located at 2301 Zanzibar. Interment will be private. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Americas.
