Maria Teresa Ybarra

Maria Teresa "Mima, Maw and Gucci" Ybarra, 81, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones, Friday, March 21, 2025, in Monahans, TX. Although our hearts are sad, we find peace in knowing she is in Heaven with our Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents Ysaac Ybarra and Estela Rios. Brothers Jose, Ruben Ybarra and sister Refugio Contreras. Husband Ruben Morales Sr., grandson's Manuel and Antonio Morales. She is survived by her youngest brother Louie Ybarra and her beloved children Ruben Jr. and his wife Patsy Morales, Esteban Sr. and his wife Michelle Morales, Miguel Morales Sr, her daughter Isela and her husband Raul Santillan Sr. Teresa is survived by 10 grandchildren: Erika and her husband Roger Aldavaz, Ruben III and his wife Miriam Morales, Danielle and her husband Stephen Salcido, Steve Jr. and his wife Leah Morales, Samantha and her husband Mason Nunez Sr., Amanda Santillan, Raul Santillan Jr., Penelope Vega, and Miguel Morales Jr. Teresa also left behind the following great-grand kids: Mia and Roger Jr. Aldavaz; Violet Morales; Sophia, Kamryn, Brielle and Stevie III Morales; Andrea, Jacob and Savannah Salcido; Addilynn, Kai and Mason Jr. Nunez.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Celebration of Life starting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas. A Graveside will follow at 11:00 AM at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938.
