Maria Magdalena Turner, age 65, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021. She was born July 27, 1955 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her sons and daughter She is survived by her husband Roberto Rodriguez, her (sons) Jose Luis Guillen Jr., Luis Alfredo Guillen, Luis Angel Guillen, (daughter) Ana Maria Guillen. (Brother) Francis Verne Turner Jr., (sisters) Maria Irma Morales, Francis Marie Shreve, Dorothy P. Turner, Elsa M. Guevara. (Grandchildren) Jose Luis Guillen III, Andrea Guillen, Ashley Guillen, Vanessa Guillen, David Guillen, Valeria Guillen, Jose Alberto Guillen, Luis Enrique Guillen, Nuvia Norinet Guillen, Jazmin Guillen, Alan Misael Guillen, Luis Angel Guillen, Angelica Guillen, Alexa Guillen, Sebastian Guillen, (great grandchildren) Adelyn Isabella Adams, Dareye Guillen, daughters/son in-law, many nieces and nephews. Maria Magdalena was a strong, determined, a fiercely independent woman and was a dedicated mother and grandmother first and foremost. She treasured all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and she embraced every moment that she spent with them. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her smile and laugh. She was a devoted practicing Catholic by volunteering her spare time at the San Elceario Parish. She retired as a truck driver of 20 years. She was immensely proud of her family and now leaves nothing but beautiful memories. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Funeral Services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home - Americas on Friday, May 7th with visitation from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with rosary at 6:00 pm. Mass at 9:00 am, Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home - Americas followed by burial at 10: 30 am at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Due to the COVID-19, we ask everyone who will be attending the service to please social distance and wear a mask.
