Maria Elena Torres, 60, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2009. Preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Torres, and her son, Ruben Torres. She is survived by her sons; Isidro, Jaime & Miguel Torres; daughters; Frances Gibson & Nancy Torres; brothers, Rodolfo, Jesus “Chuy”, Arturo, Eddie, Manuel, Raymundo & Joe Hernandez; sisters, Lorenza Arrendo, Emma Hernandez & Patricia Calderon; 6 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4:00-9:00 pm Monday, February 9, 2009 with a Vigil at 7:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Homes-Americas. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Americas.
