Maria Elena Spencer

Maria Elena Spencer was born on February 7, 1946, in El Paso, TX to Antonio Elias Jimenez and Bertha Castillo. She married Kenneth Spencer on July 11, 1980, and together they raised 5 children: Donald Ridgeway, Maria McKenzie, Paula Matos, Christine Barto, and Michelle Ridgeway who are left behind to cherish her memory. She also leaves her brothers Antonio Jimenez, Danny Jimenez, Sammy Jimenez; 20 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Spencer; her parents, Elias and Bertha Jimenez. Maria was a very loving, caring, and spiritual person. She would always help anyone who asked her, no matter what terms they were on. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed. Maria loved nothing more than spending time with her loved ones. Pallbearers will be her children: Stewart Matos, Donald Ridgeway, Paula Matos, Michelle Ridgeway, Maria McKenzie, and Christine Barto. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 9:45am on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Committal Service will follow at 11:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
