Maria Del Socorro (Granados) Rodriguez passed away on October 27, 2012 at home at the age of 71. She was born in Mexico. The middle child of Blas and Theodora (Garcia) Granados. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Trinidad and grand daughter Rebecca. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Guillermo A. Rodriguez; son, Gustavo Rodriguez and wife Kathleen of Phoenix, AZ.; daughter, Sandra Brandt and husband Tom of Plymouth, NE.; son, Guillermo Rodriguez, Jr. and wife Rosa of Phoenix, AZ.; son, Rodolfo Rodriguez of Amarillo, TX.; daughter, Maribel Willis and husband Scott of Dallas, TX.; Celia Rodriguez of Socorro, TX; son, Alfonso Rodriguez and wife Joann of Fabens, TX.; daughter, Elsa Stengel and husband Christopher of Jackson Center, OH.; daughter, Ida Magallanes of Ysleta, TX.; and son, Rene Rodriguez of Clint, TX. Grandchildren: Esmeralda, Mariah, Evan, Christina, Rodolfo, Jr., Jessica, Jennifer, Elisa, Ellison, Michael, Bianca, Andrea, Angel, Ian, Amy and Julia. Great grandchildren: Eric, Rebecca Angel, Christian Sisters: Ramona Chavarria, Juanita Medina and Soledad Granados, Brother Benigno Granados and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4-9 p.m. with a Vigil to begin at 7 p.m., Thursday, November 01, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Americas. Funeral Mass is to be said at 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 02, 2012 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
