Maria Salazar de Tovar

Maria Salazar de Tovar, 89, entered into eternal rest on August 31, 2022 in El Paso, Texas. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Felipe Tovar; daughters, Martha Tovar and Leticia Tovar. Her parents, Martin and Isabel Murillo. Maria is survived by her loving sons, Gerardo Tovar, Jesus Tovar and Manuel Tovar. Daughters, Lucia Tovar, Guillermina Tovar, Lourdes Tovar and Guadalupe Tovar. Maria was very loved and will be dearly missed by all those who met her.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary starting at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, Thursday, September 7, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr,  El Paso, Texas 79907. A mass will begin at 9:30 AM on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 14600 Horizon Blvd, Horizon City, Texas 79928. A graveside will then follow at 11:00 AM at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79938. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
