Maria Guadalupe Orozco Prangner, gained her angel wings on Friday, February 12, 2021 in El Paso, Texas at the age of 87. She was born on December 14, 1933 and was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas.
Maria dedicated her life serving the Lord, she was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church; where she served many years as a Guadalupana. Her pride and joy was her family, she loved all of her "children" in their own unique way. She had many countless friends, and always welcomed all who visited her with a "cafecito."
Grandma Mary, as she was known to not just her family, but all who knew her, always had a warm meal to serve. The kitchen was enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She is known for lighting up a room with her contagious smile and laughter. Her passion for music, dancing, and cooking is what she will be remembered for the most. Her gentle nature and big heart made it easy for people to run to her for advice on all topics. Despite having a large family of her own, there was always room in her home and big heart for the many neighborhood friends who adopted her as their own mother. She touched so many and our lives will never be the same without her.
