Maria Elena Pino

Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Maria Elena Pino who was born in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico, lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 3, 2008. She died in her daughter’s home, embraced by loving arms. Maria Pino, 66 years young, was a remarkable and loving gift from God. She was a dedicated beautician for over 30 years and recently, on July 12, 2008 she celebrated her 40th Wedding Anniversary. Her mother and father preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Rodolfo Pino; her children, Laura Elena Pino, Graciela Catalina Soldi, Rodolfo Miquel Pino; four grandchildren, Katrina Catalina Payan, Zachary Edward Soldi, Savannah Skye Soldi, Diego Miquel Pino; a sister, Virginia Flores; a brother, Pablo Flores; nieces, Nora Perez and Nadia Quintana; nephew, Raul Arrizola; grandniece, Andrea Perez; and grandnephew, Edward Perez. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm, Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast with a vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, September 8, 2008 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
