Maria Del Pilar Gonzalez

Maria Del Pilar Mancera Gonzalez, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009. She passed peacefully while surrounded by her loving family as she desired. Pilar was a member of the Catholic Church and was preceded in death by her husband; Manuel Gonzalez Flores, and her children; Lupita, Antonio, Guillermina and Ricardo. Pilar is survived by her sons; Angel (Norma), Raymundo (lupe), Sergio Carlos ( Manola), Louie and Ernesto (Terry) Gonzalez; daughters; Angela Montes (Alfredo), Cruz Elena Niglio (Nicola), Otilia Gonzalez Ash and Silvia Benitez . Mrs. Gonzalez was blessed with 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister; Irma Rodriguez. Members of the family will serve as Pallbearers; Christopher, Nicola III, Angel Jr., Antonio, Robert, Doug, Sergio and Donald. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 with a Vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am Thursday, September 3, 2009 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
