Maria L. Ophord

Maria Leoneda Ophord 12/19/1936-8/27/2012 On august 27th we lost our mother, grandmother, and our father lost his soul mate and life will never be the same. Maria was very outspoken, kind, and loving. There's not a moment that will ever go by that we will not remember her smile, her laughter, and that wonderful smirk. . She will always be remembered as a giving person and there is no way anyone she touched will ever be able to repay her and she would not want it another way. She was a joy to be around and she always said, " The only thing I don't know is when I am going to die" and we wish she knew that now because it would have given all of us more time to enjoy her. We will miss you momma. Maria's family: Husband Curven Ophord Sr.; children Lilly (Charles) Williams, Lisa Ophord, Curven Jr (Liza) Ophord, Darlene (Manny) Torres; grandchildren Alexandra and Zoe Belford, Bryanna and Alyssa Ophord and Elena Munoz,Nicolas and Manny Torres. A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm, Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast
