Maria Magdalena Muñoz

Maria Magdalena Munoz, 88, passed away on Wednesday October 28, 2020 Nena was born in El Paso, TX on July 22, 1932. She graduated from Aoy Elementary / Middle school in El Paso, Texas. Magdalena would later marry the love of her life in 1949, Cruz Munoz. Nena worked several jobs, after retiring to be a full time stay at Home Mom to raise 8 of her children, she enjoyed her family, cooking and loved gardening. She enjoyed taking care of people, both young and old and always volunteered to help others no matter what. Nena is proceeded in death by her Mother, Basilia Saucedo, her beloved Husband of 36 years, Cruz Munoz Martinez Sr. and Her Sons, Eduardo “Lalo” Munoz and Juan Munoz. She leaves behind her Sons; Cruz G. Munoz, Ruben G. Munoz and Luis Munoz and Daughters; Belia Payan, Rosa Alvarez and Lucy Rodarte: fourteen grandchildren. **Due to Covid 19, there will not be a Church Mass**, in lieu of, A Christian service will be performed at 5:00pm and a Catholic Mass and Rosary at 6:00pm for Nena on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home – East, 750 N. Carolina Drive. Burial will follow at Mt Carmel on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 10:00am at Mt Carmel Cemetery (Mausoleum Area South).
