Maria A. Morales

Maria Alvarado Morales, born January 27, 1927, loving and caring mother and grandmother was called into God’s loving arms on March 26, 2013. She was born and raised in San Elizario, TX and later moved to Ysleta, TX when she married, and raised her family there. Her family was her greatest joy. She showed her love through her many sacrifices and instilled in them her strong Catholic faith. Maria is preceded in death by her husband Pedro and son David. She is survived by her sons, Eloy (Beatrice), Hector (Leticia), and Raul (Sandra), daughters, Emma Gamboa (Henry), Terry Dominguez (Juan), Carol Minjarez (Victor), and Martha Perez (Gilbert), 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and her sister Josefina Rivera. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to Hospice of El Paso and her caregiver, Elvira, for their excellent care of our mom. Special thanks to family and friends who supported us in our time of need. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 P.M., Monday, April 1, 2013 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (Main) located at 131 S. Zaragoza. Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (Main). Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
