Maria Magdalena Montes

Maria Magdalena Montes, 59, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away on September 11, 2011. Mrs. Montes was a lifelong resident of San Elizario, Texas., and was a volunteer of the San Elizario School District for over 20 years and a member of the Catholic Community. She was a loving homemaker that loved and enjoyed her family and grandchildren. Mrs. Montes is survived by her loving husband of 39 years Guadalupe Montes, mother; Maria Luisa Maese Martinez, sons; Guadalupe Jr., and Juan Carlos Montes, daughter; Monica Marie Helo, brother; Cayetano Martinez Jr., sisters; Alicia Esparza, Carmen Barajan, and Maria Amelia Ochoa, 11 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home –Americas 9521 North Loop Dr. Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. at San Lorenzo Catholic Church located at 611 Tornillo, Clint, TX. Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011 at San Lorenzo Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
