Maria G.(Lupe) Gomez Patterson, passed away on January 11, 2011. Maria is survived by her daughters; Yvette Patterson, Andrea Quintana, Valerie Gomez, Daniela Gomez, brothers; Miguel, Jesus Pablo and Ricardo Gomez, sisters; Maria Margarita Showery, Isabel Rayas, Sylvia Amor, Leticia Gomez, Araceli Castaneda and Susana Gomez, nieces and nephews, Roelene Showery, Bernice Castaneda, Andres Rayas, Rouchelle, Allen, Andrew, Amor, Mike, Jackie, and Alejandra Gomez, of El Paso, California, and Houston. Maria Faithfully lived her life and spent much of her time to helping and making people feel welcome. Maria was a care giver and more than a sister, but also a loving mother to all of us. WE WILL MISS YOU. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Friday, January 14, 2011 with a Vigil at 7pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 10:15 am Saturday, January 15, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church Interment will be at 9 am Monday, January 17, 2011 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
