Maria Josefina Lopez- Chavez

Maria Josefina Lopez- Chavez, age 85, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother; and will be greatly missed. Maria is preceded in death by her dear parents; Cornelio Lopez and Valentina Chavez; and her husband; Carlos Guillermo Gallegos. She is survived by her dearest children; Margarita Gallegos, Carolina Quiñones, Carlos Gallegos and Silvia Ceballos; her brothers; Juan Antonio Lopez, Rogelio Lopez and Carlos Lopez; and her wonderful grandchildren; Jesus Rincon Gallegos, Eugenio Alberto Rincon Gallegos, Carlos Guillermo Gallegos, Emily Gallegos, Hazel Quiñones and Erika Quiñones. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am Friday, April 21, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home- West with a Rosary to follow at 10:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 11:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 5750 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932, with a Graveside Service to follow at 1:00 pm at Memorial Pines Cemetery.
