 In Loving memory of our mother/grandmother Maria Jimenez

 Maria Jimenez, 99, was born January 6, 1924 in El Paso, Texas.  Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, has passed away and has arrived into the kingdom of heaven on June 14, 2023, where she will rest in eternal paradise. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and their daughter Julie. She raised 5 children and several grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed and who will forever live on in our hearts and in our memories. She is survived by her children, Rosalia Cervantes, Armando Jimenez, Carolina Maesse, and Linda Gomez. One surviving sister, Senovia Tyler, and by her 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 18 great great grandchildren. Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr Torres and Nurse Renee from WellMed who worked so tirelessly to make her well and whom our mother was very fond of. Also thankful to nurse David T. from Home Dimensions for his kindness in caring for our mother. And to the wonderful and caring nurses from Hospice of El Paso, Jennifer, Christina, Maida and Janet.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil/Rosary at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 10:45 AM, Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
