Maria de Jesus Martinez

Maria de Jesus Martinez was born in Fort Hancock, Texas on April 23, 1935 and passed on Tuesday, February 24, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 6 sisters. She is survived and will be greatly missed by all her nieces and nephews. Whom she help raise and educate in the Catholic faith. Mary graduated from Ft. Hancock high school and was a life long devout Catholic. We love you, Mary. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-East with a Vigil beginning at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 27, 2009 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (Old Mission). Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
