Maria “Chacha” Jaime (nee Sandoval) entered eternal rest in El Paso, Texas on March 6, 2021 suddenly due to medical complications. Born in La Colonia Agustin Castro in Durango, Mexico on April 15, 1952, daughter to Cirilo Sandoval and Reyes Rivas.
Chacha was a dedicated employee at El Paso Independent School District for over twenty years and was known to never turn down any student who wanted something extra to eat. She truly enjoyed spending time with her fellow employees and friends often making everyone laugh with her quirky personality and spontaneous comments.
Chacha was a wonderful woman, wife, aunt, mother but above all a one-of-a-kind and loving grandmother who taught us love, gave us strength, and fought for us in one way or another and gave us her very best until the very end. She has always been and will continue to be an inspiration to the ones she loved and lived alongside. Her personality and smile brought life to any room. She blessed us with many memories, laughs, wisdom and her never ending love.
She is survived by her beloved husband of over 40 years Amador Jaime, her two sons Victor O. Jaime and Carlos A. Jaime and their wives Jacinda Donnelly and Monica Jaime; her brother and sister Cirilo Sandoval and Christina Ramirez, her cousins Tania Rivera, Lily Ramirez and Juan Jose Sandoval, and many nieces and nephews who all held a special place in her heart.
She was devoted in life to her three granddaughters Alyssa Victoria Jaime, Emma Marie Jaime and Esmeralda Celeste Jaime, who will love and miss her eternally.
