Maria G. "Tata" Irizarry

Maria G. Irizarry ( nee Saez ), 82 formally of Perth Amboy, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Maria was born in San German, Puerto Rico and came to Perth Amboy many years ago retired in San German, Puerto Rico in the mid eighties. She was a parishioner of the Most holy Name of Jesus Parish at La Auscion Church. Maria's passion was cooking, sewing and spending time with her family. Maria is preceded in death by her devoted husband Luis Irizarry; loving daughter of Bernardo and Maria ( nee Galindo ) Saez and her cherished grandson Elliott Santiago. She is survived by her beloved daughters Andrea Santiago and her husband Aracelio, Miriam Ferrer, Louis and his wife Bonnie Irizarry; adoring grandmother of Lynnette Flores, Anthony Ferrer, Louis F. Irizarry, Pryscilla Ojeda and Brittany Irizarry; cherished great ~ grandmother of 5; loving sister of many brothers and sisters, dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. We begin to leave on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Pert Amboy for a funeral mass at 10 am at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Our Lady of Hungry Church. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Linden. Visiting is on Tuesday from 2 ~ 4 & 7 ~ 9 pm.
