Maria Gallardo

Maria de los Angeles Gallardo passed away December 31, 2018. She was born March 24, 1932, in Parral, Mexico, lived 61 years in El Paso, Texas and died at the age of 86 in Denver, Colorado. Maria passed peacefully after a two-year struggle with failing health, whilst surrounded by loved ones. Maria was a strong woman, a loving mother, and a compassionate grandmother who deeply valued her family and her faith. Maria will be met at heaven's gates by her late mother Isabel Pacheco Sapien, and sister Guillermina Corral and is survived by her siblings: Maria del Refugio (Raul) Montalvo, Gustavo (Connie) Sapien, and Guadalupe (Carlos) Herrera; as well as her children: Enriqueta (Reynaldo) Zwittag, Melody Acosta, Arturo (Minerva) Gallardo; and eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Maria's viewing will be held at Sunset Funeral Homes Sunday, January 6 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary beginning at 7:00pm. Her Funeral mass will be held January 7 at 9:30am at Little Flower Catholic Church which will be followed by her burial at 2:00pm at Desert View Cemetery, Chaparral, New Mexico.
