Maria Piedad Dembovicius

Maria “Gloria” Piedad Dembovicius, age 82, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 09, 2023. She was a wonderful loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, and aunt with a charming joyful personality and very sweet disposition.  In her youth she loved to sing, dance, tell jokes, and play guitar. Always willing to take time out from her busy work day to help someone in need while also taking time to talk to and play with her young nephews and nieces who lovingly referred to her as Aunt Gloria, as she preferred to be called. She would cheer them up with her jokes or patiently teach them the guitar, traditional Mexican songs, Mexican dances, and much more. A beauty both inside and out, she always remained humble. Some recall that her greatest desire was to have a loving daughter and thankfully God granted her wish, giving her a beautiful loving daughter and grandchildren whom she adored wholeheartedly.

Always kind and loving, Gloria will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband; Aaron Dembovicius, her parents; Jose Fernandez Topete and Maria Piedad Brambila de Fernandez, and her siblings; Amparo Fernandez Brambila de Castaneda, Jesus Fernandez Brambila, Xochiti Fernandez Brambila de Wiener, Blanca Fernandez Brambila de Mendez, and Arturo Fernandez Brambila.

She is survived by her daughter; Lizbeth Fraker, son-in-law Trey Fraker, grandchildren Andrew, Conner, and Zachery Fraker. She is also survived by many extended family and friends who cherish and honor her memory.

The family is forever grateful to Mary Martinez and the staff of Eden Assisted Living for their love and care for Gloria.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at B’nai Zion Cemetery; 3915 Gateway West, El Paso, Texas.
