Maria De Jesus "Susie" Cruz

Maria De Jesus “Susie” Cruz, age 69, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 10, 2023. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and will be greatly missed. Maria is preceded in death by her beloved parents; Juan Holguin and Aurelia Colmenero Holguin, as well as her loving brother; Juan Holguin Jr. She is survived by her loving husband; Daniel Cruz, her loving children; Luana Cruz Morse (Michael), and Lamar N. Cruz, her beloved siblings; Pablo Holguin, Salvador Holguin, Maria de Rosario Corral, and Humberto Holguin, as well as her pride and joy her loving grandchildren; Nikolas Morse, Nathaniel Morse, and Abby Morse. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

 A Holy Rosary will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 am, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church; 1551 Belvidere St, El Paso, TX 79912. Pallbearers will be: Lamar Cruz, Michael Morse, Nikolas Morse, Nathaniel Morse, Francisco Holguin, Salvador Holguin, David Tovar, Octavio Holguin and Omar Tovar. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.  Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler
