Maria Antonia Cobos

Maria Antonia Cobos went home to the Lord on November 17th. She was born June 13th, 1930 in Torreon De Canas, Durango to Jesus and Refugio Leos. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everardo Cobos Sr., her first daughter, Elsa; and son, Jesus Alfredo. She is survived by her daughter Elsa A. Cobos-Hammer, Maria Del Soccorro Cobos, Sons Everardo Cobos Jr. (Ima), Robert Lara, Octavio Cobos Sr., 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was an extremely talented seamstress, who always brought a smile to everyone she encountered. Maria Antonia was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was a member of The Third Order Carmelites who started and ended everyday with prayer. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm Friday, November 23, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass: 11:00 am Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Most Holy trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
