Maria S. Chavez

Maria S. Chavez was born on January 8, 1945 and passed away on August 23, 2018 at the age of 73. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raul Barraza and Manuela Rodriguez, as well as her brother, Adelaido Barraza. She is survived by her husband, Arturo Garcia Salazar; sons, John Scott, Domingo Chavez, and Rex Lyn Scott; brother, Pedro; sisters, Bertha, Veronica, and Carmen ; as well as seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Interment is private. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
