Maria Estela Cardenas

Maria Estela Cardenas, 79, entered into eternal rest on March 15, 2024 in Socorro Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Martin Garcia Armendariz and Aurora Terrazas de Garcia and brother, Ernesto Garcia. Maria is survived by her loving husband, Lazaro Cardenas; children, Felix Cardenas, Lazaro Cardenas JR., Maria Aurora Cardenas, Silvia Cardenas, Lorenza Cardenas and Estela Cardenas; siblings, Martin Garcia, Arnulfo Garcia, Pedro Garcia and Hortencia Garcia. She also leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren who will honor and cherish her memory forever. Maria will be greatly missed by all those who met her.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at La Purisima Catholic Church, 328 S. Nevarez Rd., El Paso, TX 79927. A Graveside will follow at 11:15 AM at San Lorenzo Cemetery, 1200 Roberts Rd., Clint, TX 79836. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
