Maria D. Barba, 49, passed away June 30, 2017. She is survived by her parents; Manuel Barrera and Florentina Tapia, loving husband; Arturo Barba, son; Arturo Barba, daughters; Claudia Ivette Herrera, Adriana Christian, Laura Sturgeon, 5 grandchildren, brother; Oscar Barrera, sister; Erica Geisel and grandmother; Maria Rico Tapia. She will be greatly missed. A Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017 at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church, 401 Passmore Rd. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
