Maria Anastacia Herrera, a remarkable entrepreneur, has departed from this mortal plane on August 1, 2023. Born on May 2, 1948, in the enchanting city of Zacatecas, Mexico, she brought her indomitable spirit and unwavering determination to the bustling streets of El Paso, Texas. Maria was a force to be reckoned with throughout her life, leaving an everlasting impact on all those who had the privilege of crossing her path.

As an entrepreneur, Maria embodied resilience and tenacity. She fearlessly pursued her dreams and carved a path of success that inspired countless others. Her unwavering dedication and innovative mindset propelled her towards many accomplishments in various realms of business. Maria's entrepreneurial prowess wasn't just limited to financial pursuits; she revolutionized the way people perceived work and fostered a community of like-minded individuals who were united in their pursuit of greatness.

Maria is preceded in death by her father Maximo Miranda, mother Vicenta Olvera, and her siblings:  Margarita, Sister Lola, and Aniceto.  She is survived by her husband Teodoro Herrera, her beloved son Alfred Miranda wife Veronica, siblings; Maria Juanita, Mona, Julian, and Alfredo, nephew Max and wife Lorraine.

Maria was also blessed with four adoring grandchildren; Bianca (Jorge), Priscilla (Arturo), Melissa, Fernando, Ryan, Sierra, Diego, Teodora Herrera III and Mayela, great grandchildren; Natalie, Breanda, Christobal, Alicia Loraine, Neza Immanuel and one great great grandson; Matxel who meant the world to her. The joy she experienced in their presence was immeasurable, as their laughter filled her heart with immense happiness during family gatherings and celebrations.   Each interaction with these tender souls left an indelible mark on Maria's heart, reminding her once again of the beauty inherent in every stage of life.

In honoring Maria's memory, she leaves behind a grieving family and friends who will forever cherish her captivating spirit. 

As the date of her passing dawns upon us, the opportunity to celebrate Maria's extraordinary life arrives. A visitation will be held on August 11, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Homes - Northeast in El Paso, Texas. From 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, friends and loved ones are welcome to pay their respects and share stories that capture the essence of Maria's vibrant personality.

Following the visitation, a prayer service will commence at 6:00 PM and conclude at 7:00 PM at the same venue. This sacred gathering promises to be a heartfelt tribute to a life magnificently lived.
