Maria Luisa Alvidrez

Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and friend Maria Luisa Alvidrez, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2011 she was born on March 28, 1923. She was a long time resident of El Paso, Texas and a member of Little Flower Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched. She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Talavera and Francisca Talavera, her husband, Juan Manuel Alvidrez Sr., her son Juan Manuel Alvidrez Jr., and her brother Hector Talavera. She is survived by her loving daughter, Lupe Franco and her husband Rede Franco, her grandsons, David Franco, Alex Franco and his wife Andria, Rodrigo Alvidrez and his wife Marcie. Her Great grandchildren Ryan Alvidrez and Brenna Alvidrez, her sisters, Delfina Talavera, Elva Lucero, and Rosa Elena Garcia, nephews and nieces, and numerous family members and friends. We want to thank the caring staff of Pebble Creek Nursing Home for all the love and attention they extended to our loving Mother. Special thanks to Pebble Creek Nursing Home Director. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Thursday, August 11, 2011 with a Vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 am. at St. Marks Catholic Church on Friday, August 12, 2011. Interment will be private. Pallbearers: Rede Franco, David Franco, Alex Franco, Rodrigo Alvidrez, Ryan Alvidrez, Alberto Talavera, and Javier Garcia. Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
