Maria Marcia Aldaz

Our beloved Marcia Aldaz, 77, passed into our Heavenly Father’s arms on December 26, 2012. She was wholeheartedly devoted to her family. She had a generous spirit and abundantly shared her love and grace with her family, friends, and neighbors. Marcia was born in Parral, Chihuahua to Ramon and Guadalupe Espinoza on April 26, 1935. She came to reside in El Paso where she worked downtown for 13 years. She was a talented cook and seamstress. She loved our Heavenly Father and prayed perpetually for all. Our family is eternally indebted to Dr. Ambrose Aboud, who for many years provided countless hours, compassion, tender words, and patience. We also wish to thank all the numerous dedicated members of the medical community who cared for our mother for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Guadalupe Espinoza, her sister Alicia, and brother, Humberto Espinoza. She is survived by her husband, Secundino Aldaz, her brothers Edmundo Espinoza and Noel Espinoza, and her sister Lilia Pryer, her five children, Diana Gilliland (Scott), Rene Aldaz, Luis Aldaz (Charlene), Omar Aldaz (Julie), and Cristina Aldaz, and her grandchildren Renee Gilliland, Jessica and Aaron Aldaz, and Sophia and Alexa Aldaz. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm, Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am, Monday, December 31, 2012 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
