Maria Elena Aguilar

Maria Elena Aguilar, 81, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on January 27, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leandro Barrios and Seferina Chavez; 1 grandchild and 1 brother. Maria is survived by sons, Raul and Eduardo Aguilar; daughters, Sylvia Puentes, Esther Hernandez, Rosie Ochoa, Elizabeth Aguilar, Celia Schwarz, Carmen Aguilar, Alejandra Rayas and Elena Rayas; 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 3 sisters. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Drive. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
