Margueritte Gene Jackson age 79 passed away January 24, 2022. Margueritte Jackson was born January 28, 1942 to Willie Leo England and Daisy Hill England in Birmingham Alabama. Margueritte graduated high school from Westfield High in Birmingham Alabama and shortly after married her high school sweetheart Eugene Jackson Sr. October 21, 1962. The two were married 54 years before Eugene departed this world. Margueritte was a military wife who traveled the world while raising 4 children with her husband. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother always giving the best advice and had a smile that would light a room. Her laugh was so joyous it said a lot about her personality. Margueritte loved to skate as a child and young adult. She also perfected the task of crocheting and could make just about anything her heart desired. Margueritte was very crafty and worked well with her hands and could out bake anyone with her down home southern recipes from scratch. Margueritte was ordained an Evangelist and studied hard on her Ministries. She was a praying wife and mother. God meant everything to her. Until her last moments, it was God she called to. You will be missed Mama. Margueritte Gene Jackson was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Jackson Sr and leaves behind her daughter Sherry Renee Lampkins, Son Eugene Jackson Jr., daughter Lisa Monique Jackson and daughter Sheila Antoinette Jackson. She also leaves behind 13 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. Margueritte leaves behind two sisters, Sharon Tillery of Birmingham Alabama, Carol Welch of Atlanta Georgia and Sister-in-law Nadine Brown of Birmingham Alabama, Brother-in-law Johnny Cunningham of Heath Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM with Prayer Service at 6:00 PM, on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Service will take place at 11:30 AM, at Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass.
